Nom de Plume is a prolific producer & composer. His success is linked to his natural instincts: finding catchy melodies and interesting textures. Every project he works on (Jacobus et Maleco, Difa or Radio Radio) has an original and edgy production style. His signature touch is rural yet urban at the same time, combining acadjan and soul harmonies with the different genres of the Hip-Hop Generation: Rap, Glitch, Grime, Electro, Juke, etc.

Nom de Plume (Alexandre Bilodeau) signed the original soudntrack for the new TV series “Les Flots”, broadcasted since Sept 2017 on TV5. Production Saturne 5 (Martine Forand et Pierre-Yves Lord), directed by Parish.

New single by Nom de Plume

Nom de Plume’s new single, entitled “Trumpet”, will be released this friday, June 9th. This song was originally created during a jam session with the keyboard player Jonah Meltwave. Then, Jean Massicotte and Denis Wolff worked on it at the studio Masterkut in Montreal, joined by the artist Samito who played the electric piano. Jean Massicotte (Adam Cohen, Patrick Watson, Alejandra Ribera) also mixed and arranged the song.
