Nom de Plume

Nom de plume is the pseudonym of Alexandre Arthur Bilodeau (ex-member of Radio Radio). Also known as Arthur Comeau, he released 2 albums in the last few years with this pseudonym.

He’s coming back with his new project Nom de Plume. For a few years now, Nom de Plume has been back to Nova Scotia, where he is from and lives in Meteghan. This song was originally created during a jam session with the keyboard player Jonah Meltwave. Then, Jean Massicotte and Denis Wolff worked on it at the studio Masterkut in Montreal, joined by the artist Samito who played the electric piano. Jean Massicotte (Adam Cohen, Patrick Watson, Alejandra Ribera) also mixed and arranged the song.

Doubleheader unveils its debut album “Slim Wall”

On November 20th, Doubleheader (Arthur Comeau, Jean Massicotte) presents Sim Wall, a 10-track debut album with an evocative title, which puts aside any genre or language constraint to explore new sonic territories. The resulting musical offer is both unique and accessible. On Sim Wall, the duo’s beatmaking and creative soundtwisting are brought to the next level by the stellar vocal performances of several cream-of-the-crop Canadian artists, including Dominique Fils-Aimé, AfrotroniX, Djely Tapa, Samito, as well as up-and-coming artists EIHDZ, Quenton Hatfield and Maya Kuroki (TEKE TEKE).

Nom de plume is back behind the music of “Les Flots” TV series for season 2

Nom de Plume (Alexandre Bilodeau) is back behind the original soundtrack for the 2nd season of “Les Flots” TV Series, broadcasted since Sept 2017 on TV5. Production Saturne 5 (Martine Forand et Pierre-Yves Lord), directed by Parish. The 2nd season will air starting Fall 2018.
