ADISQ 2022 Nominations

“Les oiseaux ivres” from Ivan Grbovic at TIFF – Music by Philippe Brault

“Les oiseaux ivres” from filmmaker Ivan Grbovic will be part of the programming of TIFF’s 46th edition. The movie, scored by the music of Philippe Brault, will be premiered in the Platform section of the programming, which aims to feature innovative and groundbreaking filmmakers. The film follows Willy from Mexico to Canada on his quest to find his lost love Marlena, and where he gets hired as a seasonal working at the Bécotte farm, close to Montreal.

Dead in Motion and the album “Delirium” – New musical project by Serge Nakauchi Pelletier

New moniker of musician and composer Serge Nakauchi Pelletier, Dead in Motion’s minimalist approach is reminiscent of artists such as Pharmakon, Johann Johannsson, Cliff Martinez and Trent Reznor, and blends low dissonant drones, unnerving strings-synths duos, ambient piano and guitar-driven noise to score his first album “Delirium”, an experimental soundtrack to an imagined psycho-thriller.

“The Fireflies Are Gone” movie soundtrack now available!

The soundtrack for “The Fireflies Are Gone”, scored by Philippe Brault, is now available on all digital platforms! Directed by Sébastien Pilote (production: ACPAV, distribution: Les Films Séville), the movie was named “Best long feature film” at this year’s TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival)
