“Veins” to Premiere at Cinemania – Score: Sei Nakauchi Pelletier

The horror film titled  “Veins” (original French title “NERVURES”), directed by Raymond St-Jean and featuring a dark, experimental, and organic score by Sei Nakauchi Pelletier, will have its premiere at the Cinémania festival this November. Two screenings will take place, on Thursday, November 13, and Sunday, November 16.

Sei Nakauchi Pelletier Nominated at the Canadian Screen Awards

Sei Nakauchi Pelletier is nominated at the 2024 Canadian Screen Awards in the “Best Original Music in a Feature Length Documentary” for this work on “Diary of a Father”, directed by Claude Demers and produced by Les Films de l’autre.

ADISQ 2022 Nominations

“Drunken Birds” wins 10 IRIS Awards, including Best Original Music

DRUNKEN BIRDS by Ivan Grbovic comes out as the big winner of the Quebec Cinema 2022 Gala, with a total of 10 trophies. On top of collecting the Iris for Best Film (Luc Déry, Kim McCraw), Best Directing (Ivan Grbovic) and Best Scenario (Ivan Grbovic, Sara Mishara), the film also won the IRIS for Best Original Music, composed by Philippe Brault
