Philippe Brault signs the production of Safia Nolin’s new album, releases this Sept 9th under Bonsound label. Its title “Limoilou” is inspired from the neighborhood where she grew up in Quebec city. One of the albums of the month you have to listen to!

Boogat is releasing today his album “Neo-Reconquista” in Mexico, under license with the label Casete. This release is celebrated with a sold-out show at El Imperial in Mexico city. The album release will follow in USA in October with a serie of shows.

After Montreal Francofolies Festival, Boogat and his musicians played this Monday in Quebec (FEQ) and yesterday in Toronto. He finishes the week being number 1 in Earshot International Top 10 and one of his song will be part of the British Songlines Magazine CD compilation.

Stéphane Rancourt won yesterday a Trille d’Or award for the “Best Album Producer/Arranger” with Dayv Poulin for “Alter ego” of the artist Le Paysagiste. Stéphane Rancourt is currently working on the next album of the band The Seasons which will be released soon in Europe.
Today, Boogat released his brand new album “Neo-Reconquista”. Featuring evocative lyrics and festive beats, the album is about people repatriating their pride and identity. Jean Massicotte produced this new album with the participation of musicians such as Heavy Soundz, Pierre Kwenders,La Yegros,Thornato, Serge Pelletier, Philippe Brault.
