Boogat’s new album

San Cristóbal Baile Inn is Boogát’s third album, written entirely in Spanish, and revisits a more electronic sound, infused with rap and Reggaeton flavours. A danceable, uplifting and party oriented record, it stays true to the roots of Latin music, while remaining politically charged.

Release of Boogat’s 3rd single, Sabes Muy Bien!

Today Canadian-Mexican musician Boogát shares his song “Sabes Muy Bien”, a collaboration between Andrés Oddone and Frikstailers. This is the third single off his upcoming album, San Cristóbal Baile Inn, set for release on October 6th via Maisonnette. The track, both romantic and danceable, is an open letter to family, love, and friendship, and explores how our choices define the ways we live our lives. This single is accompanied by the beautiful artwork of Todobien Estudio, an art collective based in Mexico.

Boogat presents an EP of 4 remixes

Boogat presents an EP of 4 remixes. For these remixes, Boogat called up a few DJ and producer friends. There’s a remix by King Doudou, who Trax Magazine describes as “one of the new french rap hype producers”. The song is also remixed by mexican DJ G-Flux, who is based in Baltimore, and his version makes it hard not to move to the Cumbia Bass grooves. DJ Inko, londonian but born in Greece, makes a dancefloor rework of “Eres una bomba” adding Mumbahton and Tribal rythmics. Spain’s own DJ Caution from Madrid, mixed heavy Rap beats into the song alongside…
