Boogat’s music in the British TV series “Snatch”

Boogat’s song “Wow” is in the first episode of the British TV series “Snatch”. The new series, based on Guy Ritchie’s 2000 movie, is a whole lot of fun, a stylish heist story with an irreverent sense of humor. It features Rupert Grint, Luke Pasqualino, Lucien Laviscount, Marc Warren to name a few.

Congratulations to Laurence Nerbonne for the JUNO of “Francophone Album of the Year”. Her album XO, released in March 2016, was produced by Philippe Brault. The album Love Supreme by Koriass, co-produced by Philippe Brault, was also in nomination in the same category.

After his first single “Shore” featuring Milk & Bone, Hoodies at Night returns with his new single “NYNJII”, released on March 2nd via Maisonnette. “NYNJII” is currently the theme for music TV show “PLAY” hosted by Nicolas Ouellet on VrakTV. The single will be performed on the TV show this Thursday.

Brecht at the TNM, music by Philippe Brault

The play “The Good Person of Szechwan” by Bertolt Brecht will be presented tonight at the TNM with Isabelle Blais in the lead role. The play was directed by Lorraine Pintal and the music was composed by Philippe Brault. At the TNM until February 11th.

Congratulations to Boogat for the Felix award of the “Best World Music Album”, for his album “Neo-Reconquista” co-produced with Jean Massicotte. Congratulations also to Philippe Brault, two albums he produced received an award: “Tokyo” by Ingrid St-Pierre who won the Felix award of the “Best adult album” and “Love Supreme” co-produced with Koriass who won the Felix award of the “Best rap album”.
