La disparition des lucioles will open the FCVQ festival

After shining at Karlovy Vary, considered as the most influencial cinema event in Central and Eastern Europe, and at TIFF, “La disparition des lucioles” will open the FCVQ festival (Festival de cinéma de la ville de Québec). Soundtracked by Philippe Brault, director Sebastien Pilote’s third opus will launch the event’s 2018 festivities as a Quebec premier and opening night showing Thursday September 13.

Les Flots is back for its 2nd season to the sound Arthur Comeau’s music

Les Flots, a TV series which invites its viewers to explore the globe and its parallel subaquatic world, is back for its 2nd season starting September 7, 2018. The first episode will take place in the region of Tabarka, in the north of Tunisia. Music by Arthur Comeau aka Nom de plume.

“La disparition des lucioles” World Premiere at Karlovy Vary Festival. Music: Philippe Brault

The World Premiere of Sébastien Pilote’s lastest film, “La disparition des lucioles” will take place this week at Karlovy Vary Film Festival. Produced by ACPAV (Bernadette Payeur et Marc Daigle), the movie features Philippe Brault’s original soundtrack and actors Karelle Tremblay, Pierre-Luc Brillant, Luc Picard and François Papineau.

Serge Pelletier is composing the music for the documentary “Loin de Bachar” (ONF).

Serge Nakauchi Pelletier is composing the music for the documentary “Loin de Bachar”. Produced by the National Film Board of Canada (Colette Loumède) and directed by Pascal Sanchez, the documentary tells the story of a Syrian family in Montreal. As the children attempt to shape a daily life for themselves, their parents live in hope of one day returning to build their country. To be released in Fall 2018.

Mathieu Vanasse behind the music of the new TV series “Discussion avec mes parents”

Mathieu Vanasse composed the music of the new TV series “Discussion avec mes parents”, based on François Morency’s critically acclaimed book. The 13 episode series, produced by A Media and directed by Pascal L’Heureux, will air on ICI Radio Canada during the 2018-2019 season.
